Privacy policy
Tallinn Torutööd receives personal data through its enquiry form, emergency calls and email. In each case, the information is passed to the plumber handling the work.
What information reaches the plumber?
The enquiry form sends four fields: your name, callback number, email address for a quote, and a description of the problem and its location. The selected service, such as a water heater or radiator, and the Tallinn Torutööd page where you submitted the form are also included.
We use the name, phone number and property address provided during an emergency call to plan and quote for the work, just as we use form details. Email sent to a tallinntorutood.ee address follows the same process and receives the same protection.
Data controller and contact details
The data controller is Tallinn Torutööd, Akadeemia tee 78, 13520 Tallinn; email info@tallinntorutood.ee. Please send data protection questions in writing. The phone line is reserved for emergencies and service bookings.
Why and with whom we use your information
We use your enquiry details to respond and assign the work to the plumber who will repair the leak or install the equipment. The legal basis is GDPR Article 6(1)(b): taking steps at your request before entering into an employment contract.
The details go to the plumber attending the job. Service providers maintain the enquiry form, deliver emails and host the website; they process data only for those purposes. When you submit the form, Cloudflare Turnstile checks whether it was completed by a person rather than a bot.
How long we keep enquiry data
We keep enquiry data for 26 months so the original request remains available during the two-year workmanship warranty. After 26 months, Tallinn Torutööd deletes the enquiry and all its fields.
Your rights and complaints
- You can access your enquiry data, have an incorrect phone number or address corrected, and request deletion.
- You can also object to use of the data and request it in a machine-readable format.
Send requests to info@tallinntorutood.ee. The Data Protection Inspectorate supervises Tallinn Torutööd’s data processing; you can submit a complaint at www.aki.ee.
